πŸ”ŽAsk AI

Ever wish you could just ask "what did we decide on that call last week?" instead of digging through old meetings? That's exactly what Ask AI does.

How it works

Just type your question, and Ask AI searches through your past meetings to find the answer. You can ask things like:

  • "What decisions were made last week?"

  • "What are my coworkers' action items?"

  • "What meetings did I have between June 1st and June 7th?"

Ask AI understands dates and date ranges, so you can ask about a specific meeting or a whole stretch of time β€” it'll pull together topics, decisions, and action items from everything that matches.

When it finds something relevant, it highlights key names, topics, and terms, and attaches source cards β€” clickable links straight to the specific meeting and its summary, so you can dig deeper whenever you want.

Ask AI only searches meetings you were present in. If a meeting happened in your room but you weren't there when AI Summary was running, it won't show up in your answers.

Credits

Ask AI costs 10 credits per question β€” no matter how many meetings it has to search through to find the answer. Whether you have 5 meetings or 500, the cost is the same.

If Ask AI can't find anything relevant to your question, you'll see a message like "nothing related found in your meeting memory" β€” and you won't be charged for that request. The same goes if you're a new user with no recorded meetings yet: Ask AI will simply suggest creating a meeting with AI Summary, and no credits are deducted.

Where to find it

Ask AI is available both on the web and in the mobile app. Look for the Ask AI button β€” you'll find it as a floating button in the corner of your screen.

You can also open it during a live meeting β€” handy if you want to quickly check what was discussed last time before picking up where you left off.

Ask AI only works with completed summaries. If a meeting is still in progress and its summary hasn't been generated yet, you won't be able to ask about it until it's done.

Trying it without an account

Curious what Ask AI can do before signing up? You can open it without registering and try out example questions in demo mode. Since there's no meeting history tied to a guest account, the answers you'll see are illustrative rather than pulled from real data β€” a preview of how Ask AI responds once you start using it for real.

What's next

plane-departure

A team-wide version of Ask AI is in the works for the Enterprise plan, where multiple accounts will be able to share a credit pool β€” and an account owner will be able to see meeting summaries across their whole team, even ones they weren't personally part of.
