# AI Memory
AI Memory answers questions about your past meetings. Ask "What did we decide last week?" and get an answer instead of searching through old meetings. In dMeet, AI Memory opens with the **Ask AI** button.
### What it knows
AI Memory uses the [AI Summaries](https://docs.dmeet.org/ai-features/ai-summary) of your meetings. It can tell you when a meeting happened, what it was about, what was decided, which tasks came out of it and what deadlines were set.
* You can ask only about meetings you took part in. If you started a meeting, turned on AI Summary and stepped away, that meeting is included.
* A meeting is included once its summary is ready. Meetings without AI Summary aren't included.
* In a [Team Workspace](https://docs.dmeet.org/teams/team-workspace), the Owner and Admins can ask about all of the Workspace's meetings, including ones they didn't join.
### Ask a question
Open **AI Memory** with the **Ask AI** button in the corner of the screen, on the web or in the app. You can also open it during a meeting to check what was discussed last time.
Try questions like:
* "What decisions were made last week?"
* "What are my team's action items?"
* "What meetings did I have between June 1 and June 7?"
AI Memory understands dates and date ranges. Each answer comes with source cards that link to the meetings and their summaries.
### Cost
Each question costs **10 AI credits**, however many meetings it searches. If nothing related is found, you aren't charged. See [AI credits](https://docs.dmeet.org/plans-and-billing/ai-credits).
### Try it without an account
You can open AI Memory without signing up and try sample questions. The answers are examples, not your real meetings.
